A Master’s Touch – A Festive Concert by B. P. Salon Orchestra
Western Music Concert
The B. P. Salon Orchestra, conducted by Parvez Doctor, led by Nandkishore Talgaonkar, and hosted by Khursheed Wadia, with guest artists, soloists and choir, presents a concert of classical, semi-classical and light music. The B. P. Salon Orchestra performs regularly in Mumbai and in other cities, and has, over the past five decades, provided a platform for new, young and local talent to showcase their abilities on stage.
The programme will include marches; waltzes; violin solo by Raju Padhiyar, harmonica solos by Rustom Karwa, Sarosh Sanjana and Darius Engineer; seasonal medleys; junior items by students of Marilynne Chhabra and Parvez Doctor; and sing-along items featuring Lokhandwala Foundation School, led by Bakhtawar Gandhi
