Two metal bands, Amon Amarth (Sweden) and Textures (Netherlands) prepare to take the stage at Deccan Rock `09. Other bands playing include Bhayanak Maut (Bombay), Demonic Ressurection (Bombay), Undying Inc (Delhi), Synaps (Bangalore), Kryptos (Bangalore) and the winner of the Deccan Rock preliminary round. Orka networks is a branch of a non profit organization called Centre for Resource Education (CRE). Orka is an event management company with experience in managing performing artistes. With 3 years of experience in managing live acts and metal gigs in the city, the company has been working on many projects to improve the music scenario in India.
