Rain Raga is an effort to musically express the variations of the monsoon season vis--vis the changing moods of the living creatures. The event is set to be two hours long, comprising 8-9 compositions reflecting the present world music though broadly based on Indian Music.

The instruments considered for this thematic musical event are Sitar, Flute, Ghatam, Moorsing Percussion, Keyboard and last but not the least male & female voices for an ultimate emotive experience. The event will feature some of the most talented young turks from the world of music such as Indira Naik (folk & sufi singer), Jayateerth Mevundi (Vocal), S. Akash, (Flute), Purbayan Chatterjee (Sitar), Taufiq Qureshi (Drums) and Satyajeet Talwalkar (Tabla), Amrut (Khanjira), Giridhar Udupa (Ghatam) and Vishal Dhumal (Keyboard).
