The Nizami brother`s are the first qawwal`s to perform at Royal Albert Hall (U.K). Ghulam Sabir Nizami and Ghulam Waris Nizami are one of the most famous Qawwali Singers who sing in the Sufi style, Astana Gayaki as well as the modern Qawwali tradition. They belong to the legendary Sikandrabad Gharana which gave us Indian musical giants such as Ustad Qudratulla Khan Sahab and Ustad Kifayatullah Khan Sahab. The Nizami brothers have learnt singing from late the Qawwali Samrat Ustad Inam Ahmad Khan Mehboob Ragi, Haji Ustad Altaf Hussain Khan Sahab Padam Bhushan of the acclaimed Khurja Gharana who was his maternal uncle, Ustad Wahid Hussain Khan Sahab prabhudas respectively.
Ancestors of these traditional Gharanas were also the most classical vocalists. Dhurapdiyas, Composers, Musicologists and Poets are as old as 700 years, some of them include Ghulam Sabir of HZT, Nizamuddin Aulia & HZT Khuwaja Ameer Khursro (R.) in old Delhi. He has been awarded several titles, including Khusro Nizami from the Dargah HZT, Nizamuddin Aulia, International Ameer Khusro awards. Husn Ara Trust Born and brought up in Delhi, Ghluam Sabir Nizami is the most sought after Qawwali Singer in India, he started Singing when he was a child and has performed in India and abroad. The Nizami brothers have toured all over the Gulf, Africa, England, Spain, Sri Lanka and other Europe countries. Organize through Asian Music Circuit (A.M.C.) and (I.C.C.R.)
