A secret so dark, terrifying and menacing that he hides it from his girlfriend. A secret from his past that if revealed, threatens to ruin not only his life but that of his family, friends and loved ones. A secret that comes from a world that`s different from ours.

REVIEW: Click Embarrassingly amateurish film

This embarrassingly amateurish film stars Shreyas Talpade as a (rather unconvincing) hotshot photographer who`s returning home from an evening of drunken revelry, with his equally inebriated girlfriend at the wheel of their car. When they accidentally knock down a girl on a desolate road, the couple flees the spot. Soon after, he is haunted by an otherworldly presence. His photographs suddenly appear to reveal a supernatural element, and his friends begin to kill themselves. His girlfriend decides to investigate these strange occurrences and chances upon a murky secret involving a former lover.

Shutter shutters back and forth through the somewhat eventful life of hotshot fashion photog Avi (Talpade). Photog has a live-in model gal pal (Sadaa) for company. It`s a dandy life. Until one foggy night, after a late party they accidentally run over a girl who conveniently happens to be crossing the same lonely road. Sonia`s driving, so Avi does the gentlemanly thing. He leaves the accident victim to her sorry fate and someone else`s mercy and make a run for it.

As Sonia digs further, more details about the connections between Aarti and Avi emerge making things clearer. Avi`s friends die in mysterious ways making Avi the next possible victim. After a few flashbacks, you realise why Aarti was haunting Avi and Sonia. What happens then forms the climax of the film. The story leading to an unusual climax is interesting. Another interesting aspect is that the film`s hero is being haunted for no apparent reason. But he has a past and what happens to him in the end is justified.
