The film is a feminist story inspired by a true story of a dedicated, well educated village woman (lawyer), respectfully known as Tai ( elder sister in Marathi) who chooses a valiant but a perilous avenue. Despite suffering sexually and psychologically, she altruistically protects acres of land owned by the village community from powerful builders and and voracious politicians. This film has been inspired by a true story of an ordinary woman who struggled for 20 years against the land mafia.
