Director: Kabir Khan
Music: Sohail Sen
In the dark world of intelligence and espionage, all information is guarded in the name of national security but some stories escape the fiercely guarded, classified files - These stories become legends.
This is one such story, one that shook the very foundation of this dark world. In a government neighbourhood in New Delhi there lived a rugged, handsome and mysterious bachelor about whom his neighbours knew nothing. That was because he was India's top spy, an officer with the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), India's external intelligence agency. This man was known even in official corridors as Tiger (Salman Khan).
Tiger is sent on a relatively easy and safe mission to Dublin, Ireland to observe a scientist of Indian origin who is suspected of sharing his research findings with the Pakistan defense establishment. Tiger attempts to meet the scientist but is not successful. He then tries to befriend the scientist's part time home caretaker, Zoya (Katrina Kaif). As Tiger begins to get closer to Zoya, he begins to discover his human side.
For the first time in his life, Tiger falls in love... What follows is a tumultuous journey that Tiger and Zoya embark upon, battling the dark world of intelligence and espionage that forbids its soldiers from falling in love...
Review: Falling in love is inevitable they say and Salman Khan returns with one of the highest grossers of the year, elaborating that thought. It is only obvious that a film with him in the lead role will draw audiences to the theatres. Add to that some romance, lots of action and comic timing - ...
While exceptional in this regard, ETT isn`t always brimming with bright logic. It has its share of loopholes, convenient bending and tweaking of a hazy script packed with diplomatic protocol inaccuracies, which dumps characters and introduces new ones at its whim and will. But that is a compromise you`re willing to make for a film that doesn`t test your nerves or provoke Salman`s shirt to tear up like a Hulk cartoon.
Kabir Khan takes the larger-than-life Salman Khan persona and wraps it in an engaging story that services it. Of course its played out like a comic book but if youre willing to suspend disbelief theres fun to be had.
To be fair, Ek Tha Tiger is a very different beast from recent Salman Khan starrers, particularly his last two releases, Ready and Bodyguard. Now that could be construed either as good news or bad news depending on what you thought of those films. For those like me, who werent fans of those blockbusters, its refreshing to note that Ek Tha Tiger isnt an over-indulgent one-man showreel. Hallelujah, this film has a plot. Unfortunately, however, its a one-line, threadbare plot around which director Kabir Khan constructs the entire movie.

Disappointing time pass Movie is not great; story line is predictable and too shallow. Performance has nothing new to it. It is not for serious watchers and even for casual watch, go in with making up mind to laugh forcefully.
