Dramanon Presents SKitS

Dramanon presents SKitS a twelve-minute short play competetion being held for the first time in Hyderabad.

With the motive to promote the culture of theatre and encourage individuals to be more involved in the community, SKitS will provide a platform for aspiring groups, actors, writers, directors and production teams to put their best foot forward in a unique format. Through this short play theatre competetion, you will find corporates and communities coming together, challenging and competing against one another.

Out of the many groups that showed interest, we have shortlisted a final set of 24 groups. The plays will be performed over 3 days at the NIFT Auditorium, Madhapur on 3rd, 4th and 5th August with 2 shows being held on the 5th.

From all the plays that will be performed on stage during the prelims, a panel of esteemed judges comprising of theatre personalities of Hyderabad will choose a Best Play for each show and the audience being an important element of theatre gets to vote for their favorite group, for each show.

Therefore 8 best plays selected out of the 4 shows (one selected by the judges + one selected by the audience) will make it to the finals which will be held on August 12. The finals will be judged by prominent film and theater personalities.
Awards will be in the following categories:
1. Best play ( 1st, 2nd & 3rd place)
2. Best Actor( 1st, 2nd & 3rd place)
3. Best Director
4. Audience choice award for best play.
