The Foresters think Mandy is one of them and are horrified to find out she is a little human. Mandy who doesn`t feel threatened at all, is fascinated that she can hear, feel and speak to the forest. They are getting ready for the party that the Fairie Queen is throwing for the forest, which is a million and one year old now. The foresters debate about Mandy and know that the Fairie Queen will be angry after seeing her; they know that the Fairie Queen will find a solution for this thing called Mandy - the little human. Meanwhile, a human is lurking around as a wolf in the forest, he sees Mandy and claims to be one of her. He asks her to join him in destroying the remains of the last beautiful place on earth She is confused and torn between her loyalty to her own species (humans) or her new found friends in the forest. A war between humans and the foresters begins. The Fairies and Foresters join forces to fight the evil powers of the black night. The Fairie Queen sacrifices her last magical seed to grow inside the earth as a final attempt to save planet earth. Either the human or the foresters will survive the final battle to save the last living forest. What will Mandy do??? The play will be staged on 5th August 2012 at JSS Auditorium and is essentially written for children, although it`s equally enjoyable for adults. The Forest explores story telling in the classic way and brings voice to a world, which is slowly getting replaced by technology and gadgets. The forest is one whole hour of madness, dance, music, action, fantasy and fun as it transports the audience into a make believe world. In keeping with the play`s theme, the stage has been designed and made with waste and recycled material, in order to make the entire production eco-friendly.
