Enjoy The Thrills Of the Andharban Jungle Trek For A Challenging Adventure. Andharban, literally translating to the Dark Forest, is a Dense jungle in the Pimpri region of Maharashtra.
The Andharban Jungle Trek is located at an altitude of 2160 feet in Tamhini Ghats and the entire trek time is about 5-6 hours to cover 14 kilometers of the trail. It is a relatively easy trail so first-time trekkers are also welcome.
Andharban Jungle Trek, by its name, means a dark dense forest. It is a gradual descent trek, where you are already on height and you will descend till the end. It is one of the most beautiful treks and has many things to explore. We will be walking on a ridge offering an awesome view of the Kundalika Valley, Bhira Dam, and the mountain ranges of Tamhini Ghat.
Itinerary:
05.30 AM: Pickup from Jw Marriot Hotel Sb road
05.45 am: Bremen Circle, Aundh
06.00 AM: Sukhwani Petrol Pump Wakad
06.00 AM: Pickup from Shivaji Chowk Phase1, Hinjewadi
08.00 AM: Reach base village Pimpri our start point for the trek
08.30 AM: Breakfast once we reach the base village Pimpri
01.00 PM: Reach Hirdi to have a group lunch
05.00 PM: Reach back to end village Pimpri freshen up and depart to Pune
09.00 PM: Reach Pune
(Keep a buffer time of 1-2 hours as per the traffic)
