A farm-to-plate journey of rice saplings from the nursery to the time you eat it as food in various forms.

Please Note: Non-veg meals can be arranged for an extra charge of about Rs.400 payable directly to the host family. Jain food can be arranged for as well. Kindly mention the food preferences while booking.



8:45 AM Meet at Asangaon Station

10.30 AM - Breakfast and Orientation.

11.00 AM - Work on the designated rice fields. 

12.30 PM - Make your own mud chulha and bhakri.

01.00 PM - Lunch at a local household.

02.00 PM - Rest.

02.30 PM - Go crab catching, take a forest trail

04.30 PM - Tea and snacks.

05.30 PM - Relaxation by the river-stream and return


Cost Includes

  • Black tea and light snack/Poha for breakfast and evening biscuits at the village. 
  • Freshly made vegetarian meals. Jain food available on request. Non-veg meals payable on extra. Purified drinking water.
  • One village guide for a group of 5-6 people who will speak in Hindi or Marathi.
  • All traditional village activities and guided walks - in and around the village
  • All activities mentioned in the itinerary.
  • Constructed western loos with changing areas.
  • First-aid kit and discount offer coupons

  • Bottled drinking water.
  • Non vegetarian meals.
  • English speaking translator/ guide.
  • Any personal or emergency expense.


Ques: Is there a minimum group size required to be a part of the trip? 

Ans: No, you can travel individually as well as with a group. There is no minimum size required to book for the trip.

Ques: What about food?

Ans: Fresh, home-made food will be served.You will be assigned a household in the village which will feed you throughout your trip. Vegetarian meals are included in the cost paid. For non-veg meals extra charges applicable. We don't wish to waste any food, if you're going to reach late, do inform us in prior. 

Ques: Is an overnight stay possible?

Ans: Yes, overnight stay is possible but during the monsoon only homestays will be available. To make this into an overnight trip, contact the organiser post booking

Ques: Are there washrooms?

Ans: Yes, there are constructed western loos with jet spray and water facility.

Ques: Can I drive down?

Ans: Yes, the details for how to get there will be shared immediately after your booking.


  • Age Limit: 4 years & Above
  • Ticket once booked cannot exchanged or refunded.
  • Advanced bookings are compulsory to be a part of this event. We don't allow walk-ins.
  • Kindly note bookings for any particular date closes 24 hours prior to the date of the visit.
  • All details such as travel plans, directions, checklists etc. will be provided after a booking is confirmed.

  • If found in possession of any form of drugs or alcohol, we reserve the right to ask you to leave the camp premises.
