Gwalior Fort, Madhya Pradesh
Proudly erected on a hill is the Gwalior Fort of Madhya Pradesh that has existed since 6th century. The fort is one of the most visited monuments in India because of its historical significance. Form the reign of Kachwahas to the Suri to the Scindias, the fort has been under rule of numerous dynasties, which is evident from its diverse architecture from different eras.

Testimonial incriptions on the walls claim a history of many century and rulers of th fortress, which only brings amusement to the tourists.
Two main palace, Gujarai Mahal that once was the residential area for Queen Mrignayani, is modern-day museum and Man Temple dedicated to Man Singh Tomar, who reigned over the fortress between 1486-1516 CE.
The palace also holds around 1500 years old inncription of the numeric digit ‘zero’, which is probably the second oldest record discovered so far.
