Clerk (Bengali)

UA | 15 Jan, 2010

Clerk explores the complex psychology of an average middle class Bengali man, ironically named Biplab, which means revolution. Working as a typist in a private firm, which is on the brink of closure, he stays aloof, ignoring the growing tumult and agitation that`s waiting to unleash. For he is a man of few words, who offers no more than half a smile to fellow employees. But once he returns to his lonely flat in a mouldy high-rise building, a different Biplab emerges- a romantic, a loverboy living in the world of celluloid fantasies.
