Geethanjali is an upcoming Malayalam psychological thriller film written by Dennis Joseph and directed by Priyadarshan. Mohanlal will play the lead role in this film. He is playing the character Dr. Sunny Joseph (the character he acted in 1993 blockbuster Manichitrathazhu) even though this film is not a sequel of Manichitrathazhu. Along with Mohanlal Innocent & Ganesh Kumar will be reprising their characters Unnithan & Dasappan from Manichitrathazhu.
