Deepan and Prithviraj are again working together in `` Hero`` Their last film ``Puthiya Mugham`` was a success. ``Hero`` is also an action movie, Prithviraj plays the role of a stunt-man. Popular model and actress Yami Gautam from the Hindi film ``Vicky Donor`` makes her Malayalam debut through ``Hero``. The film also stars Tamil actors like Srikanth and Bala who have important roles.
Vinod Guruvayur has written the screenplay and Bharani K Dharan handles the cinematography. The music has been composed by Gopi Sunder and the lyricists include Anil Panachooran and Shibu Chakraborthy. And, lastly, Vijayakumar has produced ``Hero`` under Seven Arts International banner.
