This is a masala film which doesn't have anything to do with any logic. Sakthi Chidambaram has tried out give a film with the right mix of action, comedy, sentiment, dance and music. She wants to settle scores with her brother Palpandi whom she thinks was the man behind the murder of her husband Napolean who was an IAS officer. When Thangalakshmi comes to Coimbatore, as expected her brother starts troubling her. To get rid of his trouble, she employs a goon by name Kaththi (Sundar C). Kaththi safeguards Thangalakshmi and her daughter well. At one stage the groom of Abhi leaves the town fearing his life. Meanwhile wants the marriage of her daughter to go on and finally lands up with Kaththi becoming her son-in-law. Only later it is revealed that Kaththi alias Kathiresan is the son of Palpandi. But his comedies are more vulgar and less interesting. Though Napoleon has a very little role, he proves his worth. Dina's music is good on ears. There is a surprise element in Dina's music. He has made father son duo - T Rajendran and Simbu sing for this film. To be precise, one can enjoy watching this film.
