Jal Mistry (Mistry) was an Indian cinematographer of Hindi cinema. He was born in 1923 in Mumbai, India. He won the Filmfare Award for Best Cinematographer four times for the 1968 Hindi film, Baharon Ke Sapne, 1971 Hindi film, Heer Raanjha, 1974 Hindi film, Jheel Ke Us Paar and 1982 Hindi film, Kudrat. Some other noted work include Aakhri Khat, Barsaat and Naseeb. In 1960, he co-produced Bombai Ka Babu with Raj Khosla. He died in the year 2000.
