Jigar Saraiya is one among the most popular musical duo Sachin-Jigar. He started his career by assisting ace music director Rajesh Roshan. During this course, he met one of his contemporaries Amit Tridevi who introduced him to Sachin Sanghvi. The duo then joined Pritam Chakraborty and assisted him for a while before they started composing independently. Initially, they started composing for plays, jingles, and for the television episodes. Some of his notable works along with Sachin are F.A.L.T.U, Shor in the City (2011), ABCD: Any Body Can Dance, Go Goa Gone, Ramaiya Vastavaiya, Shuddh Desi Romance (2013), Badlapur, ABCD 2, Hero (2015), Meri Pyaari Bindu, and A Gentleman (2017).

They have also composed for Gujarati films. To name a few would be Wrong Side Raju, Carry On Kesar, Chor Bani Thangaat Kare, and Best of Luck Laalu. Jigar is also an occasional singer and has given hits like Morey Saiyan, Nayee Subah, Slowly Slowly, and Gulabi. He, along with Sachin has also judged a reality show titled Om Shanti Om. They regularly contribute to Coke Studio India and has given the music lovers gems like Sawan Mein, Bannado, and Laadki. His 2018 projects include Stree, Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran, Arjun Patiala, and Gold and Stree, directed by Amar Kaushik.
