Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is an Indian film editor who works primarily in the Telugu film industry. A six-time winner of the Nandi Award for Best Editor, Venkateswara Rao has worked as an editor in over a hundred films in the course of a career spanning over four decades. Some of his best known works include Sye (2004), Subhash Chandra Bose (2005), Yamadonga (2007), Magadheera (2009) and Naan Ee (2012). His work in S.S. Rajamouli`s Naan Ee earned Venkateswara Rao several accolades, including a nomination for Best Editor at the Madrid International Film Festival. Other significant editorial credits include Chinna Rayudu (1992), Raja Kumarudu (1999), Simhadri (2003), Vikramarkudu (2006), Bahubali: The Beginning (2015) Janatha Garage (2016), Bahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017) and Jaya Janaki Nayaka (2017). His 2018 projects include Agnyaathavaasi, Bhaagamathie, Howrah Bridge, Naa Peru Surya-Naa Illu India, Mahanati (Nadigaiyar Thilagam in Tamil), Nartanasala and Sharabha.
