Best-known for his villainous roles, M. N. Nambiar is an Indian film actor, dominantly working Tamil and Malayalam film industry. He is known for his acting in films such as Gentleman (1993), Ayirathil Oruvan (1965) and Thillana Mohanambal (1968).

Though he debuted as a hero-actor, Nambiar started donning the negative roles in films such as roles in Digambara Samiyar, one of his films as the Lead. His arresting performance in films such as Manthiri Kumari, Velaikaari, Ayirathil Oruvan, Thillana Mohanambal, Missiyamma and Nenjam Marappadillai.

Having worked with seven generations of actors and four languages, the actor has an illustrious acting career spanning over 50 years. He has acted in Tamil films such as Mangalyam, Guna Sundari, Doctor Savithri, Pennarasi, Amara Deepam, Rajarajan, Pathini Deivam, Uthama Puthiran, Nadodi Mannan, Illarame Nallaram, Panathootam, Enga Veetu Pillai, Aayirathil Oruvan, Thali Bhagyam, Nadodi, Naan Aanaiyital, Kaavalkkaran, Pudhiya Bhoomi, Ragasiya Police 115, and Satyam.

His other projects include Thai Veedu, Paalam, Yejaman, Poove Unakkaga, Moovendhar, Sharja To Sharja, Baba, Winner, Arasatchi, Anbe Aaruyire, and Sudesi.
