The two-time National Award winning Indian playback singer, M.G. Sreekumar is a popular singer and music director who primarily works in the Malayalam film industry. The singer who is noted for providing the best voice for the Malayalam superstar, Mohalal, in his career spanning over 30 years, he has sung more than 3000 songs in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages. Before starting his career as a singer, Sreekumar, worked in State Bank of Travancore and later began singing by accompanying his brother M.G. Radhakrishnan at his various Carnatic musical concerts. The owner of the music company named KMG Musics, M.G. Sreekumar made his debut as a singer in a film with Coolie (1983) and as a music composer with Karmayodha (2012). His 2017 release as a composer includes Vedham, a Malayalam-language drama directed by Prasad Yadav. Apart from films, the singer-composer has also worked in the TV industry as a judge and the host in several singing reality shows including Oreo Surya Super Singer (2014), and Idea Star Singer (2011-12).
