BIOGRAPHY

Maharashtra State Film Award-winner Mugdha Chaphekar is an Indian actress known for her work in the Hindi and Marathi entertainment industries. A graduate of the D.G. Ruparel College, Mumbai, Mugdha made her acting debut with the TV serial Solhah Singaarr, which was aired on Sahara One Network. She subsequently appeared in shows such as Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan, Mere Ghar Aayi Ek Nanhi Pari, Golmaal Hai Bhai Sab Golmaal Hai, and Saheb Biwi Aur Boss. In 2015, Mugdha made her feature debut with Gajendra Ahire's internationally acclaimed movie The Silence. Essaying the role of Tejaswini, the actress won the Maharashtra State Award for The Best Actress Debut for her performance in The Silence. She is married to actor Ravish Desai, who was her co-star in the TV show Satrangi Sasural.
