BIOGRAPHY

Best known as Shammi aunty, Nargis Rabadi started her career in 1951 with the film Malhar and slowly went on to become the most prolific actor, owing to her roles in varying genres of movies. Over the course of her stellar career Gambler (1960), Khiladi (1961), Laadla (1966), The Burning Train (1980), Agneepath (1990), Khuda Gawah (1992), Coolie No.1 (1995), Yeh Raaste Hain Pyaar Ke (2001), and Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi (2012), among others. She was also the integral part of the cast Dekh Bhai Dekh (1993) and Zabaan Sambhal Ke (1993). She passed away earlier in 2018, due to prolonged illness.
