Ravi Shankar, also known as Bommali Ravi Shankar or Sai Ravi, is an actor, dubbing artist, playback singer and director who is well-known for his work in South Indian cinema. The younger brother of popular Telugu character actor Saikumar Pudipeddi, Ravi made his acting debut in the 1980s, and found greater success as a dubbing artist than an actor in the first three decades of his career. Before finding mainstream success courtesy of his role in the Kannada action movie Kempe Gowda (2011), Ravi lent his voice to innumerable characters in thousands of movies across Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam cinema; winning around a dozen Nandi Awards and Tamil Nadu State Film Awards for Best Dubbing Artist along the way.

Since his breakout role in Kempe Gowda (2011) which also won him a Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor, Ravi has appeared in over seventy movies, primarily in Kannada cinema. He has also served as a dialogue writer and playback singer in a number of movies. Notable acting credits in recent times include Maanikya (2014), Jaggu Dada (2016), Kotigobba 2 (2016), Mungaru Male 2 (2016), Hebbuli (2017), the Mahesh Babu starrer Bharat Ane Nenu (2018) and the Kiccha Sudeep starrer Kotigobba 3 (2019).
