Founder Chairman and CEO of the multinational conglomerate Aries Group of Companies, Sohan Roy is an entrepreneur, filmmaker and producer. He is perhaps best familiar to the filmgoers for co-writing, producing and directing the sci-fi disaster movie Dam 999 (2011), which starred Vinay Rai, Rajit Kapur and Ashish Vidyarthi in central roles. Besides this, Sohan has also founded tv channels like Marine BizTV and Medi BizTV; and served as the president of Non Resident Indian Producers Association (NRIPA).

Notable movie credits as a producer also include the horror film Saint Dracula 3D (2012), the drama film Jalam (2016) and Aickarakkonathe Bhishaguaranmaar (2018), the latter two of which are in Malayalam. Sohan is married to Abhini, who is also an entrepreneur and film producer.
