T. K. Rajeev Kumar is an Indian film director who works in the Tamil and Malayalam film industries. He was born in the Kottayam district of Kerala. He started his Malayalam film career as an assistant director with the Navodaya Production Company. His brother T. K. Sajeev Kumar is the Visual Editor at Kerala Kaumudi and is the Chief Editor of Flash Movies published by Kerala Kaumudi group. He made his debut with the film Chanakya (2005), which won him the Kerala Film Critics Award and the Filmfare Award for the Best Director. He then went on to direct movies like Pavithram (1994), Kannezhuthi Pottum Thottu (1999) and. Sesham (2002). He was the Chairman of the Kerala State Chalachitra (Film) Academy from 2003 to 2006. He was also the Director of IFFK International Film Festival of Kerala from 2003 to 2006 and was the Vice-Chairman of Kerala State Chalachitra Academy in 2002. He has directed the upcoming 2016 release, Sabash Naidu.
