Tanveer Khan is an Indian film writer and director. He started his career as a dialogue writer and his big breakthrough came in 1992 with Ajay Devgn starrer Jigar. Some of his notable works are Suhaag (1994), Raja (1995), Ishq (1997), Zulmi (1999), and Joru Ka Ghulam (2000). In 2004, he made his directorial debut with Madhoshi featuring John Abraham and Bipasha Basu. His sophomore outing Deadline: Sirf 24 Ghante was an adaptation of American film titled Trapped. The writer-director left for the heavenly abode on 19th December 2017 after a prolonged cancer disease.
