W. B. Rao
W.B. Rao was a veteran Indian cinematographer who passed away on January 16th, 2018. He worked in about 30 films in a career that spanned four decades. He started his career as an assistant and his first independent film as a cinematographer was Mukul Anand`s Insaaf (1987). After that, Rao became a regular in Mukul Anand`s films. Together they have worked in six films that include blockbusters like Hum, Khoon Ka Karz (1991), and Khuda Gawah (1992). He was also known for his association with Dharmesh Darshan that includes some of the major hits of the filmmaker like Raja Hindustani (1996) and Dhadkan (2000). His other notable works include Rangeela (1995), Judwaa (1997), Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega (2000), and Talaash: The Hunt Begins (2003).
