A renowned film, television, and stage actor, Yogendra Tiku has been a part of the entertainment industry for various years. Born and brought up in Allahabad, Yogendra had been involved with theatre since his he was a young boy and was apart of the theatre group Prayag Rang Manch in his earlier days. During his association with the theatre group, Yogendra was he performed in plays such as Bahut Bada Sawaal, Panchi Aise Aate Hain, Khamosh Adalat Jari Hai, and Andher Nagri Chaupat Raja.

He then moved to Nairobi for over eight years, where he actively acted in a number of Hindi, Punjabi, and Gujarati plays. He also became part of an English theatre group called Phoenix Players and was associated with a number of its productions called The Taming of the Shrew, Moon on the Rainbow Shawl, and The Noble Spaniard. Meanwhile, the actor has also featured in a number of Hindi movies and is best known for his portrayal of Kangana Ranaut's father in the 2014 comedy-drama Queen. Among his other movie credits are No One Killed Jessica, Dabangg 2, Ankhon Dekhi, Neerja, Fan, and Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran.
