The pandemic has hit a lot of people around the world hard, pushing thousands to the brink of poverty. Among them are children in India who depend on their mid-day meals at school. They’ve been deprived ever since schools were closed.
Samaira Kumaran, a 14-year-old trained kathak performer, decided to do something about this. She will be performing a three-part show titled Hope. The funds collected from donations and ticket sales will be go to the NGO Give India, which is feeding needy children as part of its ‘No child goes hungry’ campaign.
Note: The show will be available to watch for the transactors for 24 hours.
When: Saturday, December 5 at 7pm.
