Sanya Malhotra made her acting debut four years ago in the film Dangal headlined by Aamir Khan. She played Aamir Khan’s daughter who goes on to become a wrestler representing the nation. Fatima Sana Shaikh plays the role of her elder sister who is also a wrestler.

As the film completes four years of release today, Sanya Malhotra took to her Instagram handle to share BTS pictures and videos from the film. Sharing the pictures, she wrote, “4 Bahot hee khoobsurat saal ???????? #4yearsofdangal”


Dangal introduced Zaira Wasim, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra in Bollywood. While Zaira has now quit Bollywood, Fatima and Sanya continue working in the industry. The two were recently seen together in the film Ludo directed by Anurag Basu.

Dangal is based on the life of Phogat sisters and the family’s passion for wrestling. The film broke records at the box office and was one of the best films of 2016.
