After a series of hits this Sankranti season, the Telugu cinema is well on the verge of revival. The next to hit the screens this week is Allari Naresh’s witty comedy entertainer, Bangaru Bullodu. Directed by Gari Palika, the movie features Pooja Jhaveri as the female lead.
The rest of the cast include Tanikella Bharani, Posani Krishna Murali, Prithvi, Praveen, Venella Kishore, Satyam Rajesh, Prabhas Srinu, Jabardasth Mahesh, Anant, Bhadram, and Ajay Ghosh. The music and background score is composed by Sai Kartheek and the cinematography is handled by Satish Muthyala.
Set against a rustic backdrop, Allari Naresh will be seen as an employee in a Gold finance company. With comedy being his major forte, Allari Naresh is back with Bangaru Bullodu. Bankrolled by AK Entertainments Anil Sunkara, the movie is an end-to-end entertainer filled with situational comedy and hilarious moments.
Allari Naresh was last seen in a prominent role in Mahesh Babu’s Maharishi. If not for the lockdown, Bangaru Bullodu should have been released on Ugadi last year. The makers have bypassed the OTT platforms and have finally geared it up for a theatrical release on January 23rd.
While the title has been lifted from Balakrishna, Ramya Krishna, and Raveena Tandon starrer Bangaru Bullodu, which released in 1993, the makers have also remixed the popular song from the movie, Swathilo Muthyamantha. Allari Naresh has also completed a movie titled Naandi, which will release in theatres pretty soon.
Stay tuned for more updates on Bangaru Bullodu and for all other interesting updates and happenings in Telugu cinema.
