Finally, the theatres have opened for new Telugu movies and that’s definitely a breather for many involved in the business. With 50% occupancy and all precautions in place, movie lovers can now enjoy watching the latest movies on the BIG screen. Let us see the happenings that occurred over the last week.

RSJ Swaroop’s next is Mishan Impossible

From the director of Agent Sai Srinivas Athreya comes yet another movie titled Mishan Impossible. While the first was a detective thriller, this one is a bounty hunting film. The recently released poster didn’t gel well with a section of the audience and the makers were kind enough to respect their emotions and have immediately recalled that poster. While his debut movie was a hit and critically acclaimed, there is a decent buzz surrounding this flick which Is bankrolled by Matinee Entertainments.

Aadi and Vedhika starrer Jungle Teaser out

Written and directed by Karthik Vignesh, Jungle features Aadi Saikumar and Vedhika in lead roles. The makers have recently unveiled the teaser of this movie and it looks super scary and interesting. Made as a bilingual in Telugu and Tamil languages, the music and background score is composed by Jose Franklin and cinematography is handled by Goutham George. Bankrolled by Mahesh Govindaaraaj and Archana Chanda under Aura cinemas and New Age Cinema, the movie is set to release in theatres early next year.

Sri Vishnu’s next is a hilarious entertainer

Teja Marni, who directed Johaar earlier is ready with his next movie. Featuring Sri Vishnu and Amritha in lead roles, the movie has music composed by Priyadarshan and photography is handled by Jagadeesh Cheekati. Touted to be a hilarious entertainer, this yet-to-be-titled movie was recently launched and is expected to go on floor pretty soon. As per the makers, this movie is something that everyone recalls at-least once in a lifetime.

Nivetha Pethuraj joins Viraata Parvam team

Nivetha Pethuraj is onboard to play a very crucial role in Daggubati Rana and Sai Pallavi starrer Viraata Parvam. Directed by Venu Udugula, who earlier directed Needhi Naadhi Oke Katha, this movie is bankrolled by Rana’s home banner Suresh Productions and Sudhakar Cherukuri. On the occasion of Rana’s birthday, the unit will unveil his look on Dec 14th. Viraata Parvam is poised to release in theatres early 2021 and Priyamani will be seen in a prominent role.

Nani’s Shyam Singha Roy launched

Natural Star Nani’s upcoming movie Shyam Singha Roy was officially launched earlier this week. Featuring Nani in three dimensions, the movie has Sai Pallavi, Krithi Shetty and Madonna Sebastian playing the lead heroines. The muhurath clap was given by none other than Nani’s father and the shoot of the movie has begun. Nani in the meantime is wrapping Tuck Jagadish, his next theatrical release directed by Shiva Nirvana.

House Arrest shoot begins

Sapthagiri and Srinivas Reddy starrer House Arrest began the shoot early this week. Directed by 90 ML fame SekharReddy Yerra, the movie is bankrolled by K Niranjan Reddy and Anup Rubens composes the music. J Yuvaraj is the director of photography.
