The Badhaai Ho Trailer Is Way Funnier Than What We Expected

The trailer of the much-awaited Badhaai Ho movie is out and it is going to leave you in splits. The movie stars Ayushmann Khurrana and the Dangal actress Sanya Malhotra. Both the actors have been building up the hype for the movie since the past week with videos and posters. They have only created our curiosity on what this quirky theme is all about.

Before the trailer, let’s look at this poster which actually reveals what the movie is all about. It shows Neena Gupta smiling with a baby bump and Ayushmann Khurrana holding a glass on her tummy to hear the baby. The other family members are sitting one after the other holding a glass too. The funniest thing on the poster is a book in the foreground that reads “What to expect when your mother is expecting“, which is sort of the theme of the movie too. It is funnier than you can expect, you must check it out.

The trailer starts with Ayushmann’s father breaking the news of a “naya mehmaan” in the family. The pregnancy of a rather older couple shocks everyone in the family, especially the eldest boy. What follows is a series of uncomfortable situations, confrontations, and a lot of laughter.

Sanya Malhotra will also be seen in Vishal Bhardwaj‘s Patakha alongside Ayushmann’s brother Aparshakti Khurana and Ayushmann has Andhadhun coming up. With both of them doing such different movies, a slice-of-life comedy just shows their versatility.

This is just the beginning. There’s much more coming up about this crazy, funny family. Badhaai Ho is all set to release on the 18th of October, till then keep visiting this space to check out more on the movie and stay tuned for the review.
