Vijay Sethupathi’s Look In ‘Laabam’ Has Us All Kinds Of Intrigued

After the success of Ka Pe Ranasingham, Vijay Sethupathi’s next most awaited release will be the social drama Laabam directed by National Award-winning filmmaker S P Janardhanan and produced by Sethupathi’s own production house along with 7C’s entertainment. The film also stars Shruthi Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Sai Dhanshika and Ramesh Tilak among others with music composed by D Imman. Here are some interesting details about Laabam, which will make a definite Theatrical release with streaming rights bought by Netflix.

A socio-political drama on the plight of the farming community

The powerful trailer of Laabam features Vijay Sethupathi as a political activist who fights for farmers and innocent people. It also talks about how the industrial and corporate sectors of society plunder agricultural resources for their own benefits. Shruthi Haasan plays the role of a performer who also gets involved in the cause. In addition, Laabam also features Sethupathi in intriguing dreadlocks look which has caught the fancy of the fans. One will have to wait and see what this particular side of his character denotes in the context of the film. Post-production for the film is underway after which Laabam will see a grand theatrical premiere at the cinemas.
