This Show Is About An Item No One Will Order…An In-law Sandwich

SonyLIV has been OTT’s success story of 2020. The streaming platform, which was earlier known mainly for streaming live sports, revamped itself this year and produced some remarkable original content to catapult itself in the league of Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. It will finish off an impressive year with one more web series, a situational comedy titled Sandwiched Forever.

Directed by Rohan Sippy, Sandwiched Forever centers around a young married couple (Aahana Kumra and Kunaal Roy Kapur) who must contend with their respective in-laws, both of whom live in apartments on the same floor as them. One can expect plenty of unwarranted meddling by the in-laws in the couple’s day-to-day life. The series also stars Atul Kulkarni, Lubna Salim, Zakir Hussain and Divya Seth Shah. The trailer which dropped last week bears shades of an American sitcom as well as Indian television shows from the ’90s.

Sandwiched Forever will stream on SonyLIV from Friday, December 25.
