Season two of Netflix’s The Witcher has been in the works for close to a year with the process being plagued by production delays. The initial wave of the pandemic halted early work on the new season, and when filming finally resumed, positive COVID tests among the crew members caused more delays. Star Henry Cavill also reportedly suffered a leg injury in December. This is yet another impediment to the production of season two.
Cavill recently posted on Instagram about his recovery process, confirming his injury. “We are in lockdown here in the UK,” the caption reads, “so I’m using my once a day outdoor exercise to go for my first jog since my hamstring injury! (More on that another time).”
