5 Reasons Why Even Adults Will Enjoy Tom & Jerry

No journey through the good ol’ days is complete without reminiscing about the amazing cartoons we used to watch as kids. Cartoon Network had some of the best collections like Looney Tunes and Tom & Jerry. We could spend hours with these animals and it is no wonder why movies like Space Jam were an audience favourite. While these memories might be making you feel quite old, there is a way you get to go through a portal back to your childhood and maybe even take your kids along with you. Tom & Jerry is going to be on BookMyShow Stream from 2nd April and we have five reasons every adult should watch this movie.

Tom & Jerry haven’t changed

They have moved to New York City and are not under the care of Mammy two-shoes but the duo hasn’t changed a bit. Jerry still goes out of his way to annoy Tom leading to Tom hunting him down every chance he gets. They can still take things a little too far as you will see in this movie.

Not just Tom & Jerry are back

Where Tom & Jerry go, so do other characters like Butch and Spike. You will also get a glimpse of the alley cats and the lovely Toots. There are also some cameos from other animals that you should watch the movie to find out.

A wonderful escape hatch

The last year has been tough and whenever we get an escape from it, we take it. This movie will be your escape hatch to the simpler days where the only frowns you had were because of Tom & Jerry’s antics.

The supporting cast shines

Chloë Grace Moretz and Michael Peña are amongst the humans you will see the most with these animals and they do bring their brand of humour to the story. With them, there is not a dull moment in the movie.

It is a family affair

Very few movies that come out can be enjoyed by the entire family. This is one of them. Gather them around with a tub of popcorn and let the fun begin.

Tom & Jerry is now available to pre-book and rent. You can click on the image below to pre-book now.

Of all the streaming platforms available in India today, Amazon Prime Video really seems to have cracked the code as far as making original Indian content is concerned. The platform has consistently churned out good quality content and has given us some of India’s most popular web series like ‘Mirzapur’, ‘Made in Heaven’, ‘The Family Man’ and ‘Paatal Lok’. Amazon’s next is ‘The Last Hour’, its first ever Indian supernatural thriller series. The show’s trailer was unveiled earlier today.

‘Making The Cut’ Season 2 Returns In July With An Indian Contestant

We live for schadenfreude. So it’s no surprise that reality TV with its manufactured, over-the-top drama is our guilty pleasure. Of course, sometimes you get lucky and are rewarded with talented contestants, heartfelt moments and virtual travel across exotic locations. One such show that fulfilled these requirements and captured our attention last year was Amazon’s fashion reality show, ‘Making the Cut’. We’re talking talented designers competing to be the next big global fashion brand; the delightfully kooky Heidi Klum and debonair Tim Gunn as hosts; Naomi Campbell’s sharp cheekbones and sharper repartees serving high fashion looks with on-point critiques, and of course, tons of drama. What’s not to like!
