The year that went by saw the world coming to a standstill. The usual normal ceased to exist giving rise to a NEW NORMAL. Time is now categorized as Pre-COVID & Post-COVID era. During the Pre-COVID era, BookASmile supported its partner NGOs in various entertainment-led experiences across cinema, sports, music, theatre, and arts.
However, during the pandemic, keeping in mind the need of the hour, all our resources were diverted to NGOs and emergency services working relentlessly across India to carry out COVID-19 relief ops, giving rise to everyday heroes who went selflessly beyond their call of duty to ‘Pay It Forward.’
We aim to showcase their stories to a live audience online, where seven heroes will narrate their inspiring stories. Industry influencers will engage in conversation with each of them, thereby giving them a platform to speak about their journey through the pandemic and honour them.
