With all the movies hitting the bullseye this Sankranti, Tollywood is set to revive the cinema post the pandemic. After Krack, Master, and RED, the next to release this season is Alludu Adhurs. Directed by Kandireega fame, Santosh Srinivas, the movie features Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas, Nabha Natesh, and Anu Emanuel in lead roles. The music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad and the cinematography is handled by Chota K Naidu. Touted to be high in entertainment, let us see if Alludu Adhurs joins the success streak in line with other movies released this Sankranti.
Alludu Adhurs is a mixed bag of entertaining elements
Seenu (Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas) has been fond of love since his childhood. He experiences heartbreak during his school days and decides not to love anymore. However, as he grew up, he fell in love at first sight with Kaumudi (Nabha Natesh), daughter of Nizamabad Jaipal Reddy (Prakash Raj). The one who rejects Seenu’s love in his childhood, Vasundhara (Anu Emanuel) enters the screen. In the meantime, Gaja (Sonu Sood) is also in love with Kaumudi. What follows is a tom and jerry game between these characters.
The entire cast played their parts well
Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas played it to the galleries in the portrayal of Seenu. He was full of swag and had evolved nicely, especially in the entertaining parts. He performed well in action episodes and his dances are a treat to watch. Nabha Natesh was a perfect glam doll and had a terrific screen presence. Anu Emanuel excelled in a meatier role. Among the rest of the lot, Sonu Sood and Prakash Raj have lit the screens with their impeccable performance. It was nice to see Sonu Sood receiving a warm reception with whistles from the audience as soon as he entered the picture. Thanks to his noble deeds in real life. Bigg Boss 4 fame Monal Gujjar excels in the item song.
Alludu Adhurs is visually appealing
While Santosh Srinivas executed the movie with finesse, he should have paid extra attention to the writing. Though the movie is entertaining throughout, it is highly predictable. Devi Sri Prasad’s album is good and the background score is decent. The major take away of Alludu Adhurs is the grandeur at which it is made. Chota K Naidu should be commended for coming up with splendid visuals. The production values are grand and the editing is crisp.
WATCH OR NOT
Alludu Adhurs is yet another Sankranti movie that is high in entertainment and is aimed towards the masses. If you ignore the predictable factor, it can easily be watched with friends and families alike. All in all, the 2021 Sankranti season ended up on a good note with all 4 movies proving to be entertaining to the audience.
