The movie was originally supposed to release in 2020 but due to the pandemic, the release of the movie was pushed to the September 3, 2021.
What’s ‘Fast and Furious 9’ about
Cipher (Charlize Theron) has recruited Dom’s brother Jakob Toretto (John Cena) to get her revenge. Jakob is a master thief, assassin and high-performance driver with some unresolved sibling issues. Dominic (Vin Diesel) along with Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) gets the band together to take on Jakob with one surprise addition – Han Lue (Sung Kang). Han’s death was a tragedy and the fans could not wait to see more of him. The trailers show us that it is brother vs brother this time with even more stunts that will leave your mouth hanging open.
Why you should watch
The Fast saga has become a global phenomenon especially after ‘Fast 5’, which gave us epic team-ups along with changing the theme of the movie. ‘F9’ is not going to be any different when it comes to creating an escape from daily life to the fast-paced life of Dominic Toretto and his family. It is always a treat to watch Roman Pearce. (Tyrese Gibson), Tej Parker (Ludacris), and Mia (Jordana Brewster) on screen and we will definitely be seeing more of them. Even Helen Mirren is reprising her role as the mysterious Magdalene Shaw. While Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham will be missed, we are looking forward to watching this installment of the Fast saga.
