We decided to throw caution against the wind and watch Tenet like how it should be watched – in the theatres. The sound was unbelievable and glorious. The whole experience was amazingly safe by the way.
Coming to the point – being a Christopher Nolan film, we will obviously have to watch it again but the first time when we watched it, we had 7 burning questions we needed answers to. Now, proceed with caution and read only if you’ve watched the film, or else you will come across some huge spoilers. And it’s not like you can go back in time and unread this.
So here’s us on our way to the theatres again to find some answers.
#1 What are the mechanics of time traveling? Once inverted, how does the person or an object travel back in time?
#2 Remember when Sator takes Kat as a hostage to get information from a captured Protagonist? Was there a machine to invert his words?
#3 According to Priya, the two attackers are the same and therefore three Protagonists in the fight scene (you know which one we are talking about – the coolest one in the history of fight scenes)? The real one, the inverted one, and who??
#4 When the inverted Protagonist fights his present Protagonist, why does he shoot him and try to take him down? The inverted protagonist should know that he’s fighting his own self.
#5 How does inversion affect biological processes and aging? Do they age in real-time or is there some logic there we didn’t get?
#6 Agreed that the inversion technology came from the future but where did those turnstile machines come from?
#7 Are Neil and Max the same frying person? Is Maxmil(lien) inverted to Neil or do we have a hyperactive imagination? Considering Neil knows the Protagonist from a “long time ago for him and years later for the Protagonist”, could it be that the first time the Protagonist meets Max when he visits London to see Kat?
Book soon because why would you not!
