Piku: Motion Se Hi Emotion

The wait is over! The much-awaited trailer of Piku was released on Wednesday evening at a suburban multiplex in Mumbai. Shoojit Sircar who gave us films like Vicky Donor and Madras Cafe is back with another riveting and heart-warming story. Piku chronicles the bittersweet relationship between a father and his daughter.

Packed with three powerhouse performers- Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan- Piku promises to take us on a fun roller coaster ride. In case you missed the trailer, check it out here:

The trailer gave us a glimpse of the unconventional and quirky story, all told in signature Shoojit Sircar style!

Here are five reasons why we absolutely love the trailer of Piku:

The way Amitabh Bachchan explains that every emotion is related to motion. Ever thought of that?

The way Deepika aka Piku tries to solve her irksome father’s constipation problem – “Aise walk karne se kuch nahi hoga, jaiye bathiye bathroom me ho jayegi”.

When Irrfan Khan say’s “Matha kharab nahi hai mera”. Oh so Bong!

Who doesn’t love a fun road trip movie? After Finding Fanny, Deepika will again take us on a fun road trip all the way from Delhi to Kolkata.

And, finally the adorable fights between the short-tempered Piku and her grumpy Baba, Amitabh Bachchan.

Piku releases on 8 May, 2015. Are you ready to meet the Piku and her baba? Don’t forget to take your parents.
