This beautiful film starring Rani Mukerji and Amitabh Bachchan revolves around a deaf-and-blind woman and her relationship with her teacher Debraj Sahai who takes it upon himself to help her have a good and decent life. Rani’s award-winning performance in Black is nothing short of incredible.

Deepika Padukone in Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela

This desi-adaptation of Romeo and Juliet stars Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. From extravagant sets and great music and even greater chemistry between the actors, this film had it all. Deepika played her part so well, that we cannot imagine any other actress playing this role.

Starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Priyanka Chopra, this film was based on the story of Maratha Peshwa Bajirao I and his second wife. In this film, both Deepika and Priyanka are such powerhouses in this movie.

Deepika Padukone in Padmaavat

This film stars Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmavati, a Rajput queen who was widely known for her beauty. Sultan Alauddin Khilji, played by Ranveer Singh, hears of her and attempts to attack her kingdom in order to claim her. This movie was true to SLB’s style and was extravagant and is one of the most expensive Indian films ever made. Needless to say, Deepika knocked it out of the park with her role.

Alia Bhatt in Gangubai Kathiawadi

This biographical film starring Alia Bhatt in the lead role is SLB’s latest venture. The teaser for this film was recently released and we couldn’t help but be very impressed with the glimpse of Alia’s performance we got to witness. You can tell this film is going to be visually stunning and we can’t wait to watch Alia be badass as she plays the madam of a brothel in Kamatipura. Gangubai Kathiawadi is all set to release on the big screen on July 30th.
