If you’re anything like us, your day doesn’t officially start until you’ve had a cup of coffee (iced Americano, in our case). Did you know there’s actually a day to celebrate the drink we consider the elixir of life? Initiated in Japan in 2015, International Coffee Day is celebrated on October 1 to highlight the plight of coffee bean farmers and to express our love for the beverage. The theme for this year’s International Coffee Day is ‘Coffee’s Next Generation’, as announced by the International Coffee Organisation.

We’re celebrating the day with our favourite cuppa (s) and a Bollywood playlist that will give you the caffeine boost to turn your day from meh to wow.

The music and background score is composed by Shravan Bharadwaj. ‘Natyam’ will release in cinemas on Friday, October 22.
