This film is based on Stephen King’s novella of the same name. It revolves around a small town that gets covered in a mist that holds otherwordly creatures. The ending of this film is different from King’s novella, it’s grimmer and darker. In the ending of the film, a group of survivors believe they are doomed as they travel through the mist. The group decides that death by gun is better than being torn apart by the creatures. David Drayton (Thomas Jane) takes the gun and shoots the other survivors including his son. He runs out of bullets before he can kill himself. Just then an army truck rolls by. This group was minutes away from being saved. ARRGH.

It was not the kind of ending we were expecting and his funeral in the film was just very sad. If you haven’t watched any Marvel movies yet, we’re sorry to reveal the ending. But, go watch them anyway.
