Kareena Kapoor Khan is expecting her second child with Saif Ali Khan. The actress who is due in February recently revealed that they have not thought of a name for the baby yet. The couple plan on waiting till after the baby is born to name him/her.
Kareena Kapoor who hosts the show What Women Want, in a recent episode discussed with guest Neha Dhupia about naming the baby. She said that after all the controversy around the name of their first born Taimur, they decided to wait until the baby arrives. “After the whole controversy of Taimur, both Saif and me have not even thought about it. We’re like going to leave it last minute and then spring a surprise,” she told Neha on the show.
Neha then suggested Kareena to hold a poll to decide the best name. Bebo said that she’d rather not take that route and will “tackle this right at the end”.
In 2016, when Saif had announced the birth of their son Taimur, a section of people on Twitter outraged over naming their kid after Timur, the Turkish ruler who invaded India. In an interview after the controversy, Saif had revealed that he had considered changing Taimur’s name but Kareena was against it saying, ‘People respect you for your opinion and you can’t’. Even though he had considered changing the name, he later decided to not do so.
