Suriya will complete a milestone 40 films with this yet-untitled project
Suriya is basking in the success of his latest release Soorarai Pottru which is enjoying a fantastic run on Amazon Prime Video. The actor has many more interesting projects in the pipeline including Vaadivasal, Aruva, and the still to be titled landmark 40th film known as of now as #Suriya40. While there isn’t much to gauge at the moment, here is some interesting information about the film.

The Pandiraj—Suriya combination holds promise
Suriya40 will be the second collaboration between this actor-director duo after the popular and successful Pasanga 2. The film is being produced by the prominent production house Sun Pictures. While there has been a lot of speculation especially regarding the female lead which is expected to be Rashmika Mandhana, the filmmaker has taken to Twitter to illuminate that nothing has been confirmed on paper yet regarding the remaining cast and crew and this information will be given in due time. The film is currently in the pre-production stage and will resume shoot soon after Suriya wraps up the filming of his debut project with Vetrimaaran. Pandiraj and Suriya gave us a sensitive narrative in Pasanga 2 and a lot is expected from this pair for Suriya’s landmark film as well.
