Pawan Kalyan is one of the biggest stars of the Telugu film industry. His recent interview with leading film critic Anupama Chopra taught us about his humility and star power. The interview took place on the sets of Sardar Gabbar Singh, Pawan Kalyan’s new film which is a sequel to his 2012 hit film Gabbar Singh.The film is all set to release in April, this year, which is a leap year. 1. Some of his biggest hits have released in leap years. The films include Badri (2000), Jalsa (2008) and Gabbar Singh (2012).
2. The only film that didn’t quite hit the blockbuster meter was Gudumba Shankar (2004), which was declared a moderate hit. However, in the same year Pawan Kalyan made a brief appearance in his brother Chiranjeevi’s film Shankar Dada MBBS, which was was a big hit.
3. His debut film Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi also released in a leap year (1996), and it cemented his position in the industry. Needless to say, this is why his fans are waiting for the release of Sardar Gabbar Singh eagerly.
