Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas Film Review – A Breathtaking Love Story

Verdict: This love story will warm your heart and make you smile.

Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas is a special movie for the Deol family as Karan Deol, grandson of Dharmendra and son of Sunny Deol makes his big Bollywood debut with this film. Karan has big shoes to fill and high expectations to meet. The question remains, has Karan done enough with this film to live up to the Deol name? This film has not only launched Karan but also Sahher Bambba who is the lead actress in Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas.

What’s Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas About:

As the film begins, we are given a glimpse into Karan Sehgal’s (Karan Deol) childhood, one that was full of adventure as he was brought up amidst the snow-capped mountains of Manali. Karan was orphaned at a young age when his parents died in an avalanche. The wide-eyed, adventurous and charming Karan now owns a renowned trekking company which has caught the eyes of several celebrities and high-profile clients. Back in Delhi, we are introduced to Ms. Saher Sethi (Sahher Bambba), a hard-to-impress influencer and travel vlogger. Her new assignment leads her to explore the buzz around Mr. Karan Sehgal’s campsite. She is determined to expose this trekking company for their exorbitant pricing. What ensues is a love-hate relationship between Karan and Saher. However, somewhere along the way as they rappel from waterfalls, zipline over rivers, and stargaze, they begin to fall for each other. Reality doesn’t take long to strike Karan and Saher’s bliss as she comes back to Delhi and problems start to pile up.

What Works:

Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas is an innocent love story that will warm your heart. One can’t help but fall in love with the breathtaking locations in the film that will make you want to take a vacation. Director Sunny Deol has left no stone unturned to make this film an extraordinary love story. Right from the music to the romantic locations, this movie checks all the right boxes. Karan Deol gives his best as an outdoorsy yet emotional lead who falls deeply in love even when he didn’t expect to. Newcomer Sahher Bhambba does a good job of holding the film together with her acting and screen presence. Amidst the family drama, high-octane action sequences, and nail-biting moments, Karan and Saher’s love story progresses by overcoming several obstacles. Aakash Ahuja gives a fine performance as Saher’s angry entitled ex-boyfriend who is determined to get his “property” back.

What Could’ve Been Better:

This run-of-the-mill plotline was a little predictable. The plot could have been more amped up in terms of delivering a new take on love stories to amplify the on-screen chemistry shared by the couple.

Why You Should Watch:

Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas maybe a bit predictable but it certainly makes for an adorable watch. If you love romantic films, don’t miss out on watching this film on the big screen with your loved ones.
